Transformers of specific design for non linear loads (K-factor) Field of application: All those applications in which it is needed to feed loads with a high harmonic distortion (the normal transformers are not designed for this, and should provoke an excessive warming). The following table is based on experimented practices. A transformer of K-13 factor solves almost all the problems that are present in the applications with a high value of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).
