Description
The surface analysis system GRITSCAN is a combined hardware and software solution for automatic evaluation of flat impact patterns; connectable via USB cable to standard laptops/PCs (to be provided by the user). The device is intended for the assessment of stone chip resistance according to EN ISO 20567-1. Results are displayed as rating values (0 - 5) in accordance with EN ISO 20567-1 (pages 11-13). Image analysis is performed according to EN ISO 21227-2 Annex A.

Function and evaluation
GRITSCAN provides automatic evaluation and documentation of impact patterns. The specially developed LED illumination allows analysis across different contrast levels. Evaluation parameters can be easily adjusted by the user to match test requirements. Results are delivered together with the corresponding images in PDF format.
