DescriptionForce measuring instruments from ERICHSEN provide a simple and cost-effective method to measure applied forces. The method is based on hydraulic transmission of forces acting on the transducer piston. The resulting hydraulic pressure is presented directly on a Newton-scaled indicator. The hydraulic design is preferred for static applications. The force rise time (relative to nominal load) should not be less than one second, as rapid load changes can damage the indicator. Impacts during force changes can be damped using appropriate throttles. All force gauges are manufactured from stainless steel.
ApplicationsThe compact force gauges are ideal for maintenance and adjustment tasks and are suitable for occasional measurements. This model series is not intended for continuous loading. Their compact dimensions make the units versatile. With accessories, the reading can be taken remotely from the actual measurement location. Transmission of measurement data via a pressure transducer to the PHYSIMETER ® 906 MC-E and 906 USB is also possible.
ConstructionIn base version "A" the indicator is directly connected to the force gauge. For expansion version "B" a high-pressure hose or capillary tube is available as an accessory. The indicator with drag needle has a diameter of 63 mm on all instruments. A rubber protective cap is available as special accessory.
