DescriptionERICHSEN hydraulic load cells provide a compact, economical method to measure forces by hydraulic transmission acting on the piston of the force transducer. The resulting hydraulic pressure is displayed directly on a scale in Newton. These hydraulic load cells are intended primarily for static or continuous applications. The increase time of the applied force (relative to rated load) should be at least 1 second to avoid damage to the dial gauge; shock loads can be mitigated by suitable throttles. All load cells are manufactured from stainless steel.
Fields of applicationThe Model 833 series is designed for continuous use and integration into machines, installations and systems of all kinds. Key features include an accurate dial gauge with zero-offset compensation and a large 100 mm diameter. With appropriate accessories the measured value can be displayed remotely. Readings can be transmitted to the PHYSIMETER ® 906 MC-E and 906 USB via a pressure transducer.
DesignThe basic "A" version attaches the display unit directly to the load cell via a screwed connection. The extended "B" version connects the measuring instrument to the pressure gauge using a high-pressure hose or capillary tube.
