OverviewCompact ring-type load cell for axial and bearing force measurement.
Technical descriptionERICHSEN force measuring instruments use hydraulic transmission of forces acting on a piston; resulting pressure is displayed on a Newton-calibrated dial indicator. Designed primarily for static use: the force rise time (relative to nominal load) should be at least 1 second to avoid damage to the indicator. Impact-type load changes can be damped using appropriate throttles. All load cells are made of stainless steel.
Fields of applicationSeries 844 load cells are suitable when a shaft must pass through the measuring device. They are intended for permanent monitoring of axial and bearing forces. Instruments feature a high-accuracy 100 mm dial with zero-offset compensation. With appropriate accessories the measured value can be displayed remotely and transmitted via a pressure transducer to the PHYSIMETER ® 906 MC-E and 906 USB.
Design- Basic "A" version: the indicator is attached directly to the load cell by a screwed connection.
- Advanced "B" version: the measuring instrument is connected to the pressure gauge via a high-pressure hose or capillary tube.
