Description The Super Air Wipe™ delivers a uniform 360° airstream for blowoff, drying, cleaning and cooling of pipe, cable, extruded shapes, hose and wire. The split (two‑piece) design clamps around material in-line, eliminating the need to thread parts through the tool. Models up to 4" (102 mm) include a stainless steel braided hose that feeds both halves from one compressed air inlet. Available in I.D. sizes from 3/8" to 11" (10–279 mm) and constructed in aircraft‑grade aluminum or Type 303 stainless steel; custom sizes and materials available.

Materials Aluminum — aircraft‑grade aluminum with stainless steel shim; suitable for general purpose applications where corrosion is not a factor; stainless steel screws for damp locations; rated to 400°F (204°C). Type 303 Stainless Steel — common stainless grade providing improved corrosion resistance and strength for harsher environments; rated to 800°F (427°C).

• Super Air Wipe Shim Sets — shipped with a .002" (0.05 mm) stainless steel shim installed; shim sets include two .002" shims that can be stacked to increase gap, force and flow (increasing gap raises velocity and force with slightly higher air consumption and noise)

Notes on compressed air and installation Each half has compressed air inlets. Sizes up to 4" include a stainless steel braided hose to couple the halves from one inlet. Sizes 9" and larger have two inlets per half and require appropriate supply to maintain uniform airflow. Use clean, filtered air; kits include an automatic drain filter separator with a 5 micron element sized for flow. Mounting may be supported by the compressed air supply pipe or via tapped holes (1/4‑20) on the downstream side. A pressure regulator on the air supply provides infinite control of flow, force and consumption; kits include a properly sized regulator.
