Overview
Continuous-operation Hazardous Location NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler Systems are designed and UL-classified for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas. Constructed in stainless steel for food-service and corrosive environments, the HZ47 series offers cooling capacities from 1,000 to 5,600 Btu/hr. Systems use vortex-tube technology to deliver cold air with no moving parts and are maintenance free. Standard equipment includes a 5-micron water/dirt filter separator and a cold air distribution kit.

What is included / Configurations
Continuous-operation systems include the cabinet cooler, a 5-micron water/dirt filter separator and a cold air distribution kit (tubing, clips and fittings). Thermostat-controlled configurations add a solenoid valve and thermostat to reduce duty cycle. If oil is present in supply air, a coalescing oil-removal filter is recommended.

Notes
These HazLoc Cabinet Cooler Systems are UL Classified for use on purged and pressurized enclosures but are not purged enclosures themselves. They must be installed as part of an appropriate purged enclosure system.
