Overview
Thermostat-controlled Hazardous Location NEMA 4X (IP66) Cabinet Cooler® Systems are engineered and certified for use on purged electrical enclosures in classified areas. UL-classified and CE-compliant, these EXAIR HazLoc systems use vortex tube technology to produce cold air with no moving parts, providing a low-cost, maintenance-free cooling solution.

Accessories

• Side mount kits (small and large) to maintain NEMA rating when mounted to side panels; Type 303 or 316 stainless steel construction
• Cold air distribution kit — tubing, adhesive clips and fittings to route cold air to hot spots
• Filter separator — 5 µm automatic drain water/dirt filter included; optional coalescing filter recommended if oil is present in compressed air
• Solenoid valve and thermostat included with thermostat-controlled systems (solenoid rated for hazardous configuration where applicable)

Important notes
HazLoc Cabinet Cooler® Systems are UL classified for use on purged and pressurized enclosures and must be used as part of a purged and pressurized control system; the Cooler itself is not a purge system. Thermostatic systems are factory set at 95°F (35°C) and typically maintain ±2°F (±1°C) inside the enclosure. Continuous-operation models are available when constant cooling/purge is required. NEMA 4X (IP66) construction provides corrosion resistance and indoor/outdoor capability.
