Description

Product description
EXtract 820 is a pneumatically operated retractable probe housing for installation on process tanks or piping. The drive unit inserts the sensor into the process medium and retracts it into the integrated cleaning chamber. In the end positions (measuring or service) the housing provides a pneumatic position signal. Cleaning, rinsing and calibration of the sensor can be performed while the process remains in operation.

Your advantages
  • Design with integrated scraper
  • Extended sensor lifetime and reduced maintenance effort
  • Automatic safety lock when the sensor is removed
  • Plug-and-play installation with colour- and size-coded connections
  • Integrated limit switches
  • Suitable for ATEX areas
  • Materials: PP, PVDF, PEEK
  • Protection cage in Alloy C22 available for PVDF option
  • Immersion length up to 94 mm
  • Wide range of process connections and sealing materials
  • Operating limits up to 10 bar and 140 °C
  • Can be fully automated with electropneumatic control unit EXmatic 470
  • Drive unit requires no maintenance

Configuration options (examples)
  • Wetted materials: PP, PVDF, PEEK
  • Sealing materials (wetted): EPDM (FDA/USP VI), FPM (Viton), FFKM (Kalrez)
