Product details
The E145S electronic control board (Part No 790076) is the 230V replacement for the previous E145 board and has been introduced for compatibility with Simply Connect. The board keeps the plug-in connector for connectivity modules enabling remote programming through Simply Connect. The USB B connector has been removed, so direct PC connection with EasyBoard via USB B is not possible.
The board allows EasyBoard configurations to be saved to a USB key and uploaded to the board. Firmware updates and SETPROG uploads are performed via USB A (pen drive). Third-level programming can still be activated by loading saved EasyBoard files from a pen drive.

FAQs about the new E145S Control Board

• Can an old SETPROG be uploaded? — YES. Safety-edge parameters (not present on previous E145) will load with defaults; NCPassword must be set to DEFAULT (if a password exists it must be reset via EasyBoard).
• Can a new SETPROG be created with EasyBoard and uploaded? — YES. Save the SETPROG to a pen drive and upload to the board; ensure password is set to DEFAULT.
• Is it possible to connect interface cards/cables to the Simply Connect plug to use EasyBoard directly? — NO.
• Can radio codes be downloaded/uploaded via pen drive? — YES.
• Can remote controls be enabled/disabled directly from Omnidec via EasyBoard? — NO directly (no USB B). You can modify the remote list in EasyBoard, save to pen drive and upload to E145S.
• Can firmware be upgraded/downgraded via USB A? — YES. Firmware upgrades (from FW4.0 and following) and downgrades via USB A are supported; note that starting from FW4.0 BUS input functions are forced to defaults when board is already programmed.
