Description

The use of hard meats, such as sheep, allow for uniform cooking of meats only if they are small in size; if not the outside would be overcooked. For this reason, “arrosticini,” small skewers that not only allow for quick and uniform cooking, but also lend themselves to being eaten while walking, in other words, they are finger foods now no longer made from sheep meat, but also from pork or poultry. Often these types of skewers are produced locally, even in butcher shops, thus allowing the recovery of trimmings and, at the same time, better quality due to the use of excellent raw material. Molds are used for production but require skill and time to properly insert the skewers. Our SPDCSM benchtop skewering device performs the precise and reliable insertion of wooden sticks into the meat to produce regular-shaped skewers of 14 x 14 mm or 16 x 16, 20 x 20, 25 x 25 or 30 x 30 mm cross-section. The basic element of the skewering device is the holding cube (patented), specifically made for our skewer. For the cutting activities, which are to be done manually, the lid of the cube will have to be lifted and a guiding element placed to facilitate the insertion and handling of the knife. To extract the skewers, simply remove the lid and push up the movable bottom. We suggest purchasing at least 3 cubes so that you can give continuity of production.
