Our composed Legostampo molds have the lid that can be removed from the mold; the pressing springs are in the mold heads, so the lid is particularly simple, compact, and lightweight, while still providing the necessary stiffness. The composed Legostampo is designed to be able to perform self-stabilizing stacking, but also to be able to carry out demolding easily and effectively. In fact, it is possible to process Legostampo molds with a half-moon shape and Legostampo molds with square shape side by side with the same machine, simply by maintaining the same dimensions of the mold heads. The automatic de-molding machine receives the molds from a conveyor and then, self-adjusting, centers the mold both longitudinally and transversely, holding it on the belt. A gripper rests on the mold, inserting the opening devices that move the lid away from the holding arms, while from below a pair of pneumatic actuators compress the springs and then lift the lid with another gripping device. Two swinging arms raise the mold to tip it over the product receiving belt, which descends either by gravity or by the action of compressed air insufflated through provided holes. In the meantime, the lid is placed on the conveyor and sent to the mold washer, and then the overturned mold is deposited and sent to the mold washer, with a new mold being introduced at the same time. Mold and lid will then be placed side by side to optimize the operation of the mold washer. An operator panel allows management of the Legostampo demolding machine and it is possible to connect remotely for service.
