AUTOMATIC PACKAGING MACHINE FME New packaging machines with motorized sealing - FME 76-77A. The FME 76-77A packaging machines replace and improve the models of the FC AUTOMATIC series. Thanks to the automatic cycle, it is possible to work in a "paced" manner by programming the necessary pause time to insert/prepare the products before a new packaging cycle. It is also possible to work in manual cycle, performing one packaging at a time by pressing the start button. The volume cannot be completely filled by the box or the product to be packaged as there must always be space around the product for the passage of hot air. The choice of machine must take into account that: - the dimensions of the box (height + depth) must not exceed the width of the coil considering also that there must always be at least 50 mm of waste. - to work continuously, quickly and smoothly, about 5 cm of "free air" around the product must be provided to facilitate heat shrinkage If the product to be packaged occupies too much volume, heat shrinkage does not occur correctly and the film may perforate. To confirm that the machine is suitable, it is advisable to contact the manufacturer and provide the measurements of the boxes to be packaged. These double film coils have the front side open for product insertion. The thickness is limited (19 to 30 µm) to facilitate heat even in small bells. The length of the coils depends on the thickness of the material. The main materials used are: - PVC: suitable for packaging technical products. Shrinks at "low" temperature - Polyolefins: suitable for technical and food products - CRYO THERMO: transparent and professional. Superior quality CHOOSING THE FILM RANGE Choosing the correct film width is essential to package products without material waste. To choose the size of the folded sheet, you must check the actual size of the box or product to be packaged and calculate the perimeter of the bottom face. Example: if you have a box measuring 30cm x 20cm x H 10 cm, place the box on the long side of 30 cm, and, looking at the front, you will have the side of 20x10 cm. The coil is center-folded. You must then calculate half the perimeter (5 + 20 + 5 cm) and add at least 5 cm. These will be waste but serve to ensure a good film seal.
