OverviewThe REFLUX Classifier® and GradePro™ Classifier combine a fluidised bed with inclined lamella separation to deliver gravity-based particle classification beyond conventional technologies. These compact units improve capacity, adaptability and separation efficiency for mineral processing and tailings treatment.
Key features and benefits- Improved separation efficiency for fine particles using patented REFLUX fluidised-bed technology.
- Increased unit capacity and reduced plant footprint by combining fluidised bed and parallel inclined lamella plates.
- Low wear design with corrosion protection internally and externally; preassembled and factory leak-tested.
- Engineered safety features including rated lifting lugs, stainless-steel pressure relief valve and remote pressure monitoring.
REFLUX Classifier (RC®) - highlightsDesigned to separate magnetite and hematite from silica at capacities up to 500 tph in a single unit. Typical feed range around -0.300 mm to +0.025 mm. Common uses include desliming and concentration of chrome, mica, spodumene, mineral sands, manganese and potash.
GradePro™ Classifier - highlightsOptimised to recover value from low-grade ores and tailings, GradePro™ provides a simple, cost-effective, easy-to-operate solution to concentrate valuable minerals from low-grade feeds.
How it worksFeed slurry enters below the lamella plates to form a fluidised bed in the mixing chamber. Higher-density or coarser material sinks and is discharged; lower-density or finer particles rise into the lamella section and overflow with process water. Lamella channels promote settling of misplaced fine high-density particles, which slide down the plates and recirculate into the dense medium, enhancing overall recovery.
Maintenance & ServiceUnits are configured from laboratory and pilot-scale testing to match specific applications. Equipment is designed for transportability, quick site assembly and reduced commissioning time. Aftermarket support includes troubleshooting, process optimisation and supply of spare and wear parts.
