Description

Overview
The AXEL 4 is a 4-axis CNC machining centre designed for drilling and milling aluminium and steel profiles. Built to machine large-section profiles, it supports heavy chip removal and high cutting speeds thanks to a 22 kW electrospindle running up to 24,000 rpm with HSK E63 interface and liquid cooling.

Integrated software
  • FSTCam4: complete CAM package for extruded aluminium elements. Manages design, machine preparation, work lists and execution in a single environment, using advanced machining strategies to optimise cycle times and ensure part quality.

  • 4 controlled CNC axes for drilling and milling of aluminium and steel profiles.
  • Electrospindle: 22 kW, up to 24,000 rpm, HSK E63, liquid-cooled for extended heavy-duty machining.
  • Super-compact head enabling machining with a 14° undercut.
  • 15-position tool magazine integrated on the head for flexible tool management.
  • Retractable pneumatic stop for fast workpiece positioning and clamping.
  • Vices with controlled, independent positioning; compact size reduces repositioning and provides rigid clamping close to the machining area. Jaw and pad positions adjustable quickly without tools to secure large profiles.
  • Optimised for high material removal rates and high-speed machining of large-section profiles.
