Inspection manhole cover in ductile iron EN- GJS-500-7 conforming to norm EN 1563:2018 with load bearing capacity over 400 kN (40 tons), conforming to the load class D400 as set out by norm EN 124:2015 FRAME It is made in a single cast, it can be opened through 2 rectangular half cover sections only from one side, in order to have free access to three sides. It comes without gasket and its stability is guaranteed through a metal to metal coupling. Externally, the outside border is flanged, in order to optimise its hold in the cement and the insertion of anchoring bolts. COVERS It is rectangular-shaped, hinged to the frame with maximum opening of 110°. At 90° it assumes the automatic safety blocking position and can be removed without disassembling the hinge. The master half cover is provided with a stainless steel lock, this can be handled by a special sectioned key, which allows partial and sequential opening. In order to guarantee top stability and safety, each cover is fixed to the frame through four hidden stainless steel screws of 12 mm ø.
