IInspection manhole cover in ductile iron EN- GJS-500-7 conforming to norm EN 1563:2018 with load bearing capacity over 400 kN (40 tons) and 250KN (25t), conforming to the load class D400 and C250 as set out by norm EN 124:2015 FRAME It can be square or circular in shape, with a circular net opening. It has a EPDM gasket placed inside a groove, in order to increase stability and eliminate any rocking or noise. Furthermore, the hinge seating of the cover is obtained through casting. Externally, the outside border is flanged to optimise its hold in the cement and the insertion of the anchoring bolts. COVER It is round-shaped, hinged to the frame with maximum opening of 110°, 90° is the safety position (automatic locking), there is the possibility to remove the same cover without disassembling the hinge. It presents an elastic closing system provided with an elastic bar built into the cover, which creates an automatic opening/closing system. This can be carried out using building clays. The key becomes a comfortable handle for opening and closing the cover. A high stability is guaranteed by the machine-working of the contact surfaces(turning process), by selfcentering guides, placed under the cover with double stops.
