Inspection manhole cover in ductile iron EN- GJS-500-7 conforming to norm EN 1563:2018 with load bearing capacity over 400 kN (40 tons), conforming to the load class D400 as set out by norm EN 124:2015 FRAME Single casting frame with inverted base, provided with peripheral ramps that allow the assembling only on raised ground position respect to the road surface. The indicated ramps come shaped to facilitate the runoff of water. On each side there are holes to insert the anchoring hooks for the fixing on the structure below. Inside the frame there is an EPDM seal which guarantees the tightness against the infiltration of the yards water. COVER It is hinged to the frame, it is power-assisted through n. 2 large-diameter torsion springs, so as to reduce the effort in opening and closing phases, with automatic locking system at 100°. It is supplied with a stainless steel lock, which can be handled with a special section key. In the contact area with the frame, it has a gasket made in gasoline and wear-resistant material. The surface has a non-slip grip. THE APPROPRIATE LOADING CLASS CHOICE IS UP TO THE WORKS DIRECTOR. IN CASE OK DOUBT (SUCH AS PARTICULARLY INTENSE TRAFFIC OR VERY HIGH LOADS AREA), IT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE TO CHOOSE A SUPERIOR LOADING CLASS.
