The Fumex ASA is a robust balancer-based exhaust extractor designed to remove vehicle exhaust fumes from stationary vehicles. The product consists of a balancer and hose and is available with an articulated swivel arm in lengths of 3200, 4300, 6600 and 8400 mm. It is optimized for use together with Fumex fans and control systems and is available in dimensions Ø100, 125 and 150 mm.

In its articulated swivel arm design, ASA can cover multiple workstations. The double joint in the middle of the arm gives the extractor flexibility across the full working radius. The swivel arm is mounted on a wall or column and provides an estimated working radius of approximately 6–11 metres, depending on arm length. A friction brake mounted on the bracket keeps the arm highly position-stable.

The exhaust extractor is connected to a separate fan or to an existing exhaust extraction system and is complemented with a suitable exhaust nozzle. The balancer block is equipped with a 3.5 metre wire and a spring-loaded lock. The hose can be pulled down to the desired position and remains in place, then returns to its resting position with a light pull. Longer wire is available if required.

The recommended installation height for the Fumex ASA is 3–4 metres. For higher installation heights, a longer hose and a more powerful balancer block may be required.
