The Fumex APS is an exhaust fume rail designed for worksites with moving vehicles. It is an effective solution for applications where vehicles need to enter, move through and exit the workplace while remaining connected to the exhaust extraction system.

Its unique profile rail design offers several practical advantages, including low pressure drop for reduced operating costs, a rubber flap that naturally seals the air gap to minimise leakage, and simple installation of the rubber flap. The system also offers flexibility through different hose lengths and hose qualities.

APS has manual disconnection and return as standard and is primarily used where there is a low frequency throughflow of vehicles or where entry and exit take place through the same gate. The trolley is connected at the entrance, follows the vehicle through the rail, and is manually disconnected at the exit. The rail can be connected to a separate fan or to a central exhaust system.

As an option, APS can be equipped with automatic disconnection and return using a compressed air nozzle. It can also be fitted with different fan and damper controls, while the trolley can optionally be equipped with a PR extraction point.

The APS rail is available in standard profile rail lengths of 6 m, as well as 3 m and 1 m sections, allowing flexible adaptation to the site layout.
