The WLAN interface and WiFi antenna as panel mount jack are a practical solution for integrating network connections into existing infrastructures.
For systems that do not have an implemented WLAN interface, Schlegel offers the adapter RRJ_WLU_02 in its product range. This adapter can be connected to the system via the 150 cm USB A 2.0 cable. Supported systems are Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11, Mac OS X or Linux-operating systems. The WLAN interface is based on the specifications IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n and enables transmission rates of up to 150 MBit/s at a distance of up to 10 m at a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
The following encryption protocols are supported: 64/128 WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. The compact WLAN adapter has a mounting depth of 41 mm and can be operated within a temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C.
For systems with WLAN interface that do not have external access, the Wi-Fi antenna RRJ_WLA_01 can be used at a frequency range of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The antenna conforms to IEEE 802.11 (a/b/g/n/ac) and acc. to IEC 60169-15 it can be connected via a SMA end launch jack. The panel mount jack has a mounting depth of 27 mm only and can be operated within a temperature range of –40 °C to 105 °C.
Both panel mount jacks are IP65 and are designed for a panel cut-out of Ø 22.3 mm and they fit the RONTRON-R-JUWEL range with its several design awards.
The jacks can be perfectly integrated into walls and office furniture, living spaces and public facilities where stable Internet access is required.
