Freight wagon designed for transport of hot steel slabs, primarily between Swedish steel manufacturers and processors.
Complies with SJ’s General Technical Specification for Freight Car (GTSF) and applicable international requirements (TSI, EN, RIV, UIC) referenced in the GTSF.
Underframe and bolster beams engineered for a possible future axle load increase to 30.0 t; running gear can be accepted for future 30.0 t axle loads on Swedish tracks.
All components attached to the steel car structure are specified to operate under severe winter conditions (packing snow, ice, temperatures down to -40°C) and tolerate heat radiation/convection from hot slab surfaces.
