Product DescriptionThe 6001-HD Glow-wire Test Chamber reproduces short-term thermal stress from a glowing element, overloaded resistor or similar ignition source to assess fire-hazard risk of electrical and electronic products, plastic parts of household appliances and non-metallic insulating materials (e.g. switch enclosures, relay sockets). The chamber is designed for repeatable, standards-based testing with controlled observation and recordkeeping.
