Description

Overview
  • Voltage detector for medium to high/extra-high voltage lines designed for hot-stick operation. FRP insulating rod and replaceable operating rod facilitate field use.

  • Tip metal fitting incorporates a shock-absorbing spring to enhance durability and handling.
  • Operating rod can be replaced with a longer rod for extended reach (shortening is not permitted for safety reasons).
  • Shielded/conductive-sheath cables cannot be detected.


Additional product variants & specific functions
  • Selected models (e.g. HSR-500, HSR-90N) provide positive indication with a high-luminance flashing red LED and intermittent electronic buzzer for visibility in bright daylight and noisy environments.
  • Certain models feature waterproof, tightly enclosed sensors to prevent failures from dirt, water or foreign objects.
  • Long-length variants (HST-L / HST-70L / HST-30L / HST-W80L) are available for feeder applications.
  • WM Series (pinwheel type) enables battery-less voltage detection using the detected energy and a pinwheel rotation check.
  • HST-20N is a newer model offering reduced weight compared with HS-20N.
