HAWE Hydraulik’s heavy-duty window lifters have been designed specifically for use in armoured vehicles. In an emergency, they open and close bulletproof glass weighing up to 45 kg in just 6 seconds. There is an additional emergency function to ensure the highest degree of safety: an emergency valve, which enables the window to be opened and closed at any time. Thanks to a hydraulic accumulator, the window can be independently opened and closed even if the vehicle battery is no longer providing power. The compact dimensions and high power density enable it to be installed in very small spaces, such as in the vehicle door.
