The Heil® PT1100 is a high-performance, high-payload mid-range rear-load garbage truck built on the proven PT1000 platform. It delivers one of the fastest cycle times in its class, a large hopper capacity and outstanding payload for both residential routes and occasional commercial pickups. The PT1100 features a modern one-piece body sidewall designed for easier washing and reduced corrosion, and is designed to fit restricted budgets while maximizing collection productivity.

In-cab and controls
The PT1100 includes the Heil In-Sight Display which centralizes body control and diagnostics in the cab. Operators can adjust hydraulic detent valve pressures, manage the entire ejection sequence (unlock/open/eject/lower/lock tailgate) and operate body functions without leaving the seat. The remote/mobile controller and display enable on-board troubleshooting, reduce dash clutter by moving body switches into the display, and allow future feature expansion.

Hydraulics, serviceability and construction
  • Standard in-body hydraulic oil tank location reduces chassis interface issues and frees frame-rail space while decreasing exposure to contamination.
  • Three-micron hydraulic filtration system to keep oil cleaner and extend hydraulic component life.

The PT1100 can be equipped with a variety of optional commercial packages (reeving systems, winch, roll bar with lip & latch kit) to handle commercial containers. Optional Bayne Thinline premium mobile lifters (single or dual) reduce manual handling strain and increase route efficiency. CNG systems (roof or front-of-body) are available for alternative-fuel fleets.

Connected collections & telematics
The PT1100 can be factory-equipped for Connected Collections (including 3rd Eye mobile, radar and multi-camera capability) to support service verification, body/chassis data capture, fuel tax reporting and route management. Integration with Verif-Eye for Rear Loaders provides service verification (confirming stops and service events) and fleet-level telemetry capabilities.
