Overview
The Heil® DuraPack® 5000 high-compaction rear-load refuse vehicle has nearly 30 years of production history and more than 20,000 units built. The body is built with a fully welded, interlaced subframe, formed channels and high-tensile steel to maximize strength while minimizing weight and improving resistance to corrosion and cracking. A high cylinder mount and compact short-overhang design provide outstanding weight distribution, reduce wear on rear chassis components and maximize forward loading of body and payload.
