OverviewThe netMIRROR Test-Access-Point (TAP) NMR-TFE-RE provides continuous mirroring of 10/100 MBit Ethernet traffic without affecting network operation. Installed at the controller, it enables disruption-free connection of diagnostic devices and preserves network timing due to its passive design. The network link remains active even if the TAP is unpowered.
Highlights- Permanent diagnostic access point
- Full passive network access
- Zero delay on network side (< 1 ns)
- Compatible with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX networks
- Network connection remains active when TAP is unpowered
Supported protocols- Ethernet

NMR-TFE-RE | 7340.100 | 10/100 MBit Ethernet Mirror-TAP
Technical specifications- Model: NMR-TFE-RE
- Function: 10/100 MBit Ethernet Mirror-TAP for permanent diagnostic access
- Transmission speed: 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX (10/100 MBit)
- Construction: passive TAP providing full passive network access
- Delay on network side: zero delay (< 1 ns)
- Network behavior: timing preserved; no telegrams discarded under high load or errors
- Operational safety: network connection remains active even if TAP is disconnected from power
- Typical use: installed at the controller for disruption-free diagnostics during operation
- Protection: passive design prevents unintended interference from connected diagnostic devices
