Overview
netANALYZER Scope (LIC/SCP) is a software extension for the netANALYZER Ethernet analysis tool that automatically interprets system-specific telegram traffic and displays transferred process values with plain-text names, correct data types and an exact 10 ns time stamp. Process values are recorded cycle by cycle to ensure no relevant value is lost. The tool also calculates classical netANALYZER metrics such as telegram jitter, cycle time, forwarding time and network load, and it detects important events like alarms or missing process-data telegrams. Data and views can be grouped or superimposed in oscilloscope-style views to reveal interconnections from transmission layer to application layer, simplifying problem localization.
