The Sugarplex is the IDEAL system concept - specially tailored to the sugar industry. The machine was exclusively developed for the needs of the food industry. The extremely compact system requires neither additional filters, fans nor cooling equipment, which are commonly seen in conventional sugar milling system concepts. This means that the system operator benefits from lower investment expenditure, reduced space requirements and lower cleaning and maintenance costs. The cylindrical design of the mill includes a container with a diameter of 800 mm and a conical product discharge that can be integrated seamlessly into an existing system. The coarse sugar is fed by a rotary valve through the mill door to the centre of the grinder. The grinder, which is composed of two pin discs, is integrated into the mill door. The door has a wide opening and can be opened quickly and easily, allowing the user to inspect or clean the grinding tools at any time. The Sugarplex 315 SX achieves throughputs of 3 t/h at fineness values of 99% < 450 µm or 1.5 t/h at a fineness value of 99% < 150 µm.
