The wire stripper is used in live work up to 1000 V AC or up to 1500 V DC. The wire stripper is designed for stripping cable conductor insulation. Depth of insulation cut adjustable from 0 to 5 mm. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE The wire strippers should be stored and transported in a bag or toolbox separately from other tools to avoid mechanical damage. Store the knifes in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect against sunlight. The wire stripper should be cleaned after each use. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. When the tool becomes heavily soiled, use a cloth with ASOREL or suitable cleaning solvent and dry it thoroughly.
