Flexible end caps are used for live work up to 1 000 V AC or up to 1 500 V DC. The covers are designed to protect the ends of wires and cables at switchgear devices, cable lines and overhead lines. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store end caps in a manner that prevents compression, bending or mechanical damage. Store the end caps in dry rooms away from heat sources, in a non-chemically aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. It is recommended to store at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C. End caps should be cleaned after each use. For cleaning use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent. After cleaning, dry the end caps thoroughly at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C.
