The cover is designed for insulating bare overhead line conductors with a cross-section of 16 - 95 mm2. To attach the covers to the wires, use the B113.0401 insulating clamps. The cover is used on overhead lines up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE Store the covers in a way that prevents them from being compressed, bent or mechanically damaged. Store in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Storage at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C is recommended. The cover should be cleaned after each use. Use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent for cleaning. After cleaning, dry the cover thoroughly, at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C, and cover with talcum powder. In case of heavy soiling, the use of ASOREL is recommended for cleaning. Cleaning with the preparation should be carried out in the open or in ventilated rooms.
