The cover is designed for insulating bare overhead line conductors with a cross-section of 16 - 95 mm2 especially when it is necessary to leave them for a long time, e.g. near renovation and construction works. To attach the covers to the wires, use the B113.0401 insulating clamps. The cover is used on overhead lines up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC. Use the A112.0401 tool to install the cover. Storage and maintenance Store the covers in a way that prevents them from being compressed, bent or mechanically damaged. Store in dry rooms, away from heat sources, in a chemically non-aggressive atmosphere. Protect from sunlight. Storage at an ambient temperature of 10 °C to 25 °C is recommended. The cover should be cleaned after each use. Use warm water (up to 40 °C) with a mild detergent for cleaning. After cleaning, dry the cover thoroughly, at a temperature not exceeding 60 °C, and cover with talcum powder. In case of heavy soiling, the use of ASOREL is recommended for cleaning.
