The tape is designed to insulate the workplace on overhead lines up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC. It is used to insulate elements of low voltage overhead lines that cannot be insulated with typical insulation covers. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE The tape should be properly stored to minimize the risk of damage to the insulation due to storage or transportation. Care should be taken to ensure that the tape is not compressed and folded. The tape should be prevented from excessive heat, sunlight, artificial light, or sources of ozone. Store the tape in a non-aggressive chemical atmosphere. It is desirable that the ambient temperature between 10 °C and 25 °C When tape become soiled, they should be washed with soap and water at a temperature not exceeding 40 °C After washing, the tape thoroughly dried (not exceeding 50 °C).
