Description
The space-saving rotary seal type RODA is designed
specifically for sealing rotating components.
From profile width 3.9 mm it has a radial leakage/lubricant
groove in the slide ring surface which provides
a low friction, high sealing effect with low break-away
forces.
The gap between rotor and stator must be smaller than
that of the RDA due to the seal design.
The RODI is to be preferred to the RODA due to its
greater static contact surface.
Depending on the specifications and operating conditions
it is recommended to have the running surface
hardened to approx. 56 HRC or hard chromium plated.
