Product Overview
The wear resistant straight beam contact transducer series is an ultrasonic NDT probe family for manual contact inspection of metal parts with simple geometry. It is designed as a front‑end ultrasonic component to be used with compatible flaw detection equipment and requires a suitable coupling medium for manual inspection.

Applications
This transducer series is suitable for manual ultrasonic NDT of metallic components where direct contact probes are required. Typical inspection targets include plates, large forgings, billets, castings, pipes, tubes, tanks and bars. The series also supports lamination/delamination and bond testing, inspection of thick sections and testing of materials with low penetration. Fingertip models provide solutions for restricted access inspections.
