While standard breather valves handle daily thermal breathing, our ERV is engineered to provide the massive venting capacity required when internal pressure rises rapidly beyond normal operating limits. Designed in strict accordance with API 2000 and ISO 28300, the valve features a weighted, hinged cover that remains tightly sealed under normal conditions to prevent fugitive emissions. In an emergency, the cover lifts to relieve pressure and automatically reseats once conditions normalize. Using SolidWorks Flow Simulation, we have optimized the discharge coefficient to ensure maximum flow efficiency.
