MAXI L is ICAM's automated vertical storage system designed for high-density storage and safe handling of long, heavy and bulky materials. It maximises storage capacity by building upward rather than outward, keeping the floor footprint to a minimum — with drawers up to 7,000 mm in length and a load capacity of up to 3,000 kg per drawer.

Outdoor installation is a strategic advantage: it frees up valuable indoor floor space for new production lines or layout reorganisation, and allows materials to be loaded from outside and made immediately available to operators inside — eliminating long material routes between exterior and interior with a direct impact on safety and operational efficiency.

Goods-to-person
The drawer travels to the operator at the access station — not the other way around. The motorized shuttle handles lifting and extraction automatically, eliminating manual handling of heavy loads and ensuring ergonomic, safe operation throughout the shift.
