The Explosion Relief Valve EVM is a reusable, flameless venting device, whichis designed for the protection of personnel and equipment in case of gasexplosions, or engine “mis-fire” or “back-fire.” In the event of an explosion,the venting device opens by lifting the valve plate, and directs the ventedexplosion through the flame arrester, preventing flames from being expelled tothe surrounding areas. The relief valve type EVM is equipped with multiple coilsprings. Immediately after the pressure event, the valve plate closes and resets.
