Overview
C-3045 blade granulator for industrial size-reduction and recycling applications. Cumberland inside. Insonorized feed hopper 300×450 mm and 250 mm rotor diameter designed for processing bulky and filamentary materials with ease.

Features

• Hopper: Front-loading hopper compatible with conveyor feeding, fully soundproofed. Three polyurethane flaps reduce noise leakage and prevent material flyback. Servo-assisted manual tilt with gas shock absorber for safe handling.
• Cutting chamber: Bolted and pinned construction for fast component replacement. Bearing supports located outside the cutting chamber to prevent dust and liquid contamination. Two fixed reversible blades mounted with wear-compensation seats. Smoothly machined internal surfaces for easier cleaning. Frontal adjustment of fixed blades via 'EasyAccess Cumberland'.
• Rotor: Open, self-cooling rotor with balanced central shaft and robust blade carriers. Double cutting angle with a scissor-effect for improved cutting efficiency, reduced noise and lower power draw. Rotor geometry reduces bounce on bulky items. Two side-by-side rotating discs prevent winding of filamentary materials; internal fins assist side-wall and bearing cooling.
• Blade housing: Rotor and 3 rotating blade housings in high chrome-carbon steel with exclusive CUMBERLAND treatment for enhanced abrasion resistance. Rotating blades are bolted with high-strength screws and manufactured in K110 (approx. 58 HRC).
• Grid: Rear-hinged grid support with gas shock absorber for easy cleaning and maintenance. Reversible grids available in multiple sizes to adjust output granulate.
• Base frame: Heavy-gauge steel base with anti-vibration supports for the cutting chamber. Access door and motor casing lined with insulating and sound-absorbing material.
• Unloading: Collector drawer for connection to an extraction/suction system, fitted with lateral guides for quick installation and cleaning.
• Motor: 11 kW TEFC, IP55 AC motor mounted on an adjustable slide for belt tensioning.
• Drive parts: Rotor driven by high-inertia pulley flywheel; transmission via V-belts. Unit prepared for optional second flywheel. Rotor speed: 450 rpm.
• Safety: Motion sensor ensures rotor is stationary before service-door opening. Front emergency stop, safety microswitches and a control relay verifying safety-system status. Pivot key for locking rotor during blade changes.
• Electrical panel: IP55-rated control panel with components for correct operation, star-delta motor starter and low-voltage controls. Power supply: 380 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz.
• Accident prevention: Supplied with safety decals and a user & maintenance manual. Execution compliant with CE standards.
• Estimated production: 250–400 kg/h depending on material and grid diameter.
