Insonorized blade granulator model C-40100-3K with a 510 x 1,000 mm load box and a 419 mm diameter rotor. Designed for continuous industrial plastic size reduction with estimated throughput of 700–1,200 kg/h depending on material and grid.

Hopper

Front-loading hopper or conveyor-fed option, fully soundproofed. Three polyurethane flaps reduce noise leakage and prevent material flyback from the cutting chamber. Servo-assisted manual tilt for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Cutting chamber

Constructed from bolted and pinned components for rapid replacement. Bearing supports are located outside the cutting chamber to prevent contamination by dust and liquids. Two fixed reversible blades mounted with wear compensation. Internal surfaces are finely machined to simplify cleaning. Front adjustment system for fixed blades (EasyAccess Cumberland).

Rotor

Open self-cooling rotor with a balanced central axis and thick rotating blade supports. Double cutting-angle design with a scissor effect for improved efficiency, reduced noise and lower energy consumption. Two side-by-side rotating discs limit entanglement of filamentary materials. Internal fins provide additional cooling to side walls and bearings.

Blade housing

Rotor and housing for the three rotating blades are manufactured from high chromium-carbon steel and treated with exclusive CUMBERLAND abrasion-resistant process. Rotating blades are bolted with high-strength screws and made of K110 (58 HRC).

Grid

Rear-hinged grid support with gas shock absorber for maintenance access. Reversible grids available in various sizes.

Base frame

Heavy-gauge steel base with anti-vibration supports for the cutting chamber. Access door and motor casing made from insulating, sound-absorbing material.

Unloading

Collector drawer for connection to extraction systems, fitted with side guides for easy assembly and cleaning.

Motor

30 kW TEFC IP55 AC motor mounted on an adjustable slide for belt tensioning.

Drive parts

Rotor driven by a high-inertia pulley flywheel. Motor transmission via V-belts. Provision for a second flywheel. Rotor speed: 450 rpm.

Safety

Motion sensor ensures rotor is stationary before service door release. Front emergency stop and safety microswitch. Control-panel relay verifies safety systems. Pivot key allows locking rotor position for blade changes.

Electrical panel

IP55-rated control panel with components for operation and protection. Star-delta motor starter and low-voltage control circuit. Power supply 380 V – 3 phases – 50 Hz.

Accident prevention

Fitted with safety labels and supplied with a user and maintenance manual. Built according to CE standards.
