The Forkardt LS series has been designed for production lines in the production of premachined and finished mass-produced parts. The three-jaw power-operated chuck LS provides a high clamping force at high speeds and is self-centering with retract function against a workpiece stop on the chuck face. The chuck is hermetically sealed against chips, dust and coolant and is internally lubricated, which reduces maintenance costs. The LS chuck is available as a standard three-jaw version, but a 2, 4 and 6 jaw version is also available on request. The top jaws are interchangeable with other chucks from the same series without additional adjustment. The LS basic version is self-centering and the LSC also offers a compensation function.
