Overview
Designed for filling milk-based nutritional powders including infant formula and specialised medical nutrition. Modular inline vacuum filler for cans, glass, plastic and PET at speeds up to 180 cans per minute with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 head configurations.

Product information
Developed by PLF's experienced team, the Virtus features a patent-pending nozzle that delivers up to 3× higher throughput per head versus previous machines. The vacuum filling principle has no moving parts in contact with the product, reducing contamination risk and powder breakdown compared with auger systems. The design shortens changeover and cleaning times, maximises yield and lowers operating costs.

• All surfaces designed for easy cleaning, following EHEDG principles to avoid contamination traps
• 304 stainless steel open-section frame; product-contact parts in 316 stainless steel and FDA-approved materials
• Cable trays and cabinets mounted with spacing for hygienic cleaning
• Continuous welds, rounded corners, no exposed threads or hollow bodies
• ViwaTeq low-adhesion stainless steel treatment on product contact parts for easier cleaning
• ATEX approved for use in hygienic, potentially explosive zones
