Description

Product description
The ETT series twin-screw extruder is an industrial extrusion line designed for continuous production of snack foods, breakfast cereals and pet foods. The machine integrates feeding, extrusion, cutting, heating, lubrication and control subsystems. Core drive and metering units use variable-frequency speed control to provide stable, adjustable processing.

Applications
Designed for processing starch-based and cereal raw materials, including corn flour, wheat flour, rice flour and native or modified starches. Suitable for producing fully expanded and semi-expanded extruded snacks, breakfast cereals and dry pet food formats.

Working principle
Raw materials are dosed into the feeder and delivered to the twin screws. As screws co-rotate they convey, compress and shear the material. Temperature and pressure build in the compression and mixing zones until the mass reaches the desired plasticized state. Material is then conveyed to the die for shaping and cut to length at the discharge.
