Overview
The horizontal float switch JUMO NESOS R40 LSH is designed for side mounting on tank walls to detect MIN and MAX liquid limit levels. It supports up to two switching contacts for redundant level measurement and is suitable for use in hazardous areas thanks to Ex approvals.

Application & function
Float switch for horizontal mounting to detect minimum and maximum level limits in liquids. Up to two switching contacts can be configured for redundant monitoring. Typical applications: chemical process tanks, power plants, machine and container construction.

Materials & versions
Float options: cylinder, CrNi (stainless steel) Ø44; cylinder, Ti (titanium) Ø44. Contact configurations: normally closed (NC), changeover (SPDT), normally open (NO) or bistable. Protection rating depends on version (IP65 to IP68).

Approvals & use cases
Designed for potentially explosive atmospheres and industrial environments. Approvals include ATEX, IECEx, EACEx, CCC [Ex i, Ex d], DNV GL, WHG, EAC. CE declaration provided.
