Description

Product overview
The CellaCombustion PK 62 is an infrared pyrometer for non‑contact temperature measurement of sooty flames in coal‑fired power stations and incineration plants. Using the two‑colour method, it detects near‑infrared radiation at two wavelengths from soot particles and applies a dedicated algorithm to compensate for wavelength‑dependent emissivity and flame optical density. Flame temperature data can be used to control burnout, reduce pollutant emissions and minimize slagging of combustion‑chamber walls.

Smart function / Vitality indicator
The CellaTemp® PK series incorporates a vitality indicator (SMART): a self‑monitoring system that continuously records operating data and, as part of preventive maintenance, signals the optimal time for service checks and calibration depending on operating conditions.
