The EK 60 is a high-output excavator chain cutter designed for deep, low-vibration trenching and controlled excavation. Part of the EK Chain Cutters range, it replaces percussive breaking with continuous cutting to provide precise trench geometry and predictable cutting performance. The EK 60 is suitable for soil, asphalt, concrete and rock up to 50 MPa UCS and is intended for 10–17 t class excavators. Configurations support cutting widths of 500 mm or 600 mm and a drum length of 1,600 mm.
