Project description
Following a new corporate strategy focused on e‑mobility, the Schweinfurt site gained strategic importance. ZF reutilised available floor areas in production halls and optimised specific zones using indoor solutions from the TRENDLINE system by KLEUSBERG. KLEUSBERG delivered 28 projects at the Schweinfurt site over the last three years in a variety of configurations.

Scope and features

• Design and implementation of in-hall offices, measurement rooms, partition walls, meeting and break areas within production areas.
• Modular system rooms that can be subsequently extended, reduced, reconfigured or relocated.
• Multiple execution variants: on steel mezzanines, as standalone partition walls, rooms suspended from the hall ceiling, standard offices, material airlocks, analysis stations or measurement rooms.
• Doors and passages: use of sliding doors, portal openings and a demountable double-leaf door in one measurement room to allow extra-wide clearances for machine changeover.
• Example project: original partition 186 m long and 7 m high; extension added 143 m. New wall element heights: 3.50 m and 4.50 m, adapted to ceiling heights and existing columns/beams.
• Example room with intentionally demountable wall (18 x 10 m) to allow conversion into one large or two smaller rooms.

Practical notes
The continuous full-height partition system creates enclosed areas suitable for measurement tasks and provides sufficient space for comprehensive ventilation equipment. KLEUSBERG plans customer-specific, economical room solutions while taking into account the shortest walking and internal transport routes within the rooms.
