Overview
Komatsu D61EXi-24 / D61PXi-24 is delivered with a factory-installed 3D GNSS Machine Control (iMC) system. Blade-mounted add-on components are replaced by a cab-top GNSS antenna, an enhanced inertial measuring unit (IMU+) and stroke-sensing hydraulic cylinders. This integrated sensor package provides accurate positional data while eliminating daily installation/removal of antennas and cables on the blade.

Intelligent Machine Control
Factory-installed 3D GNSS iMC with cab-top GNSS antenna, IMU+ and stroke-sensing cylinders enables automated dozing from rough cut to finish grade. The standard touchscreen control box is mounted high in the cab with adjustable viewing angle for operator visibility and simple operation.

Performance and drive
Hydrostatic driveline delivers high drawbar pull when required and fuel-efficient operation for grading and precision tasks. Two operating modes — "Quick-Shift" and "Variable Speed" — allow the operator to match machine response to the application.

Cabin and comfort
Hexagonal cab design with large tinted windows offers panoramic visibility. High-capacity automatic climate control pressurises the cab to limit dust ingress. Sound-absorbent interior lining reduces noise levels for better operator working conditions.

Safety
Super slant nose and forward-positioned cab improve visibility of the blade, ripper and nearby obstacles. Integrated ROPS/FOPS and the cab-forward layout place the operator closer to the blade for enhanced view of work area and safer operation.

Environment
Komatsu EU Stage V engine ensures ultra-low emissions, reliable performance and reduced environmental impact while helping control operating costs.

Maintenance and serviceability
Well-located service doors provide safe and convenient ground access to daily service points. Radiator at the rear and engine filters accessible from the front simplify checks and replacements. Remote grease points facilitate lubrication of C-frame pivots and angle cylinder bearings.

KOMTRAX is Komatsu’s wireless monitoring system for tracking machine location, performance and status. Komatsu CARE is the factory-scheduled maintenance program supplied with new machines and performed by Komatsu-trained technicians using genuine parts.
